An ingredient list identifies what is declared in a product. It does not provide a complete recipe.
Notice what matches
Compare the exact ingredient names, the product type and the directions. A serum and a cream may share several ingredients while serving different roles in a routine.
Shared names are useful information. They can help you identify something you prefer or need to avoid. They cannot establish that two finished products are the same.
Notice what is missing from the comparison
A cosmetic label does not disclose every concentration or manufacturing detail. Ingredient order has labeling exceptions, so small differences in position should not be treated as precise measurements.
Packaging, size and the practical experience of using a product also matter to a purchasing decision. They are separate questions from whether two lists look similar.
Compare without a winner in mind
Read both pages fully, then decide which product fits your needs and budget. A higher price does not prove superiority; a similar headline does not prove equivalence.
