This policy describes what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

What we collect

When you buy from us or contact us we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number if you give one, and your order details.

We do not see or store your full payment card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and card details go directly to them.

When you browse, our platform collects standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you.

Why we collect it

• To process, fulfill and ship your order.
• To contact you about your order.
• To handle returns, refunds and support.
• To send marketing email, only if you asked us to.
• To keep the store secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

• Shopify — our store platform and host.
• Shopify Payments — payment processing.
• Supliful — our fulfillment partner, who receives your name and shipping address in order to ship your order.
• USPS — delivery.
• Our email provider — only if you have subscribed to marketing email.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Marketing

We only send marketing email if you opted in. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and it works. We do not send marketing text messages.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and why, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any right, email hello@ozeralabs.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

You may also use an authorized agent. We will ask for proof that you authorized them.

How long we keep it

Order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. Adverse event records for as long as federal cosmetics regulation requires.

Adverse event records

If you report a reaction to one of our products, we keep a record of that report, including the information you give us, because we are required to under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act. See Product Safety and Adverse Event Reporting.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may break parts of the store, including checkout.

If you visit with a Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat that as an opt-out request for that browser where applicable law requires it.

Children

This store is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

No system is perfect and we will not claim otherwise. Payment data is handled by Shopify Payments over an encrypted connection and never reaches our own records. Please do not send sensitive information to us by email.
