Our products are cosmetics
Ozera Labs products are cosmetics intended for external use on the skin. They are not drugs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
Not medical advice
Everything on this site — including our journal articles, product pages, emails and social media — is general information about ingredients and routine. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for speaking to a qualified professional. If you have a skin condition, are taking prescription treatments, or are pregnant or nursing, talk to a doctor before changing your routine.
Individual results
Skin is individual. Anything we describe about how a product looks, feels or behaves is a general description of the formula, not a promise about your outcome. We do not publish before-and-after imagery and we do not publish testimonials from people who do not exist.
Ingredient information
We publish the complete ingredient list for every product, in full under “Full ingredient list”, on that product’s page. We do not publish concentration percentages, because we have not had them verified to us in writing. Formulation attributes we state — fragrance-free, formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicones and mineral oil — are checkable against that list. They are descriptions, not third-party certifications, and we hold no certification seals.
Third-party information
Where we describe supplier attributes, we say so. Terms such as “cruelty-free” have no legal definition in the United States; where such a term is used it reflects our supplier’s stated attribute and is not a certification.
