003 is an evening serum. Start slowly, use it as directed, and keep daytime sunscreen in your routine.

Read the finished formula

Retinol is a form of vitamin A used in cosmetics. Our 003 Retinol Night Serum lists retinol, hexapeptide-11 and bisabolol among its ingredients. Its place on the shelf is an optional evening step, before cream.

The ingredient name does not promise an overnight result. Cosmetic retinol and prescription products are not interchangeable simply because their names sound related.

Give it a clear place

Follow the directions: shake, apply three to four drops to clean, dry skin at night, avoiding the eye area. Begin twice a week. Using more is not a useful shortcut. Stop if irritation occurs rather than trying to push through it.

Use daytime sunscreen as directed. If you already use other active or prescription products, ask a qualified clinician about the combination before adding another.

Some questions belong with your clinician

If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your healthcare professional before choosing skincare containing retinol. Take the complete ingredient list with you. A store cannot make that decision from a product name.
